Cake Toppers That Make A Statement

If you're looking for a unique cake topper that makes a statement - read on. Toppers With Glitz does not make the average cake topper. All toppers are custom made by the owner, Sari. And because of this, you have choices and are not just ordering a stock, mass-produced topper that will look like everyone elses. Therefore, you topper will be unique and made based on your vision and style. For example you can choose partial crystal coverage or full, a 3-letter monogram or single letter, a custom design or shape, different colors, different heights, differnt widths, gold or platinum base, different fonts.....and the list of choices goes on! The toppers are made with top-quality aluminum. And when your wedding day is over, you don't have to put it in storage or throw it away, the pegs are removable so that you can use it again (in a shadowbox, on an album, on a wall, etc.). Why Spend a Fortune on Jewelry?

How about recycling jewelry? I found a fabulous company that leases jewelry. The idea is, instead of buying expensive jewelry (that you probably won't get much use out of), or spending countless hours searching the malls for costume jewelry, borrow some. You can lease individual pieces, like a "statement" necklace, or lease entire sets. They also offer the option to buy them! Just click on your choice, and in 3-5 days they will arrive at your front door. You can keep them 14 or 30 days, and when you are done, pop them into the included envelope and drop them into the mailbox. They even have sales! This is a must see! www.imoveritonline.com

A Bridal Registry That Matters!

Would you like to make a difference? You can! Your bridal registry can be so much more than just accoutrements for your home. You can create a registry filled with gifts (causes) that make a difference. "Changing The Present" is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit website offering gifts that change the world. These "gifts" are a great alternative to that set of towels you were planning to register for. Check it out!

Eco- Friendly Invitations

Have you been looking for quality "green" wedding invitations? I found some! And not just any invitations. These are absolutely beautiful! They are made out of recycled paper, elemental chlorine free paper, and well managed forest products. The invitations feature original art designed by the owner. She is an artist and studied at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and The Art Institute of Colorado. The invitations are fairly priced, with the average price being around $5.00 per set. Personalize Your Wedding!

A great way to make your wedding unique is by personalizing it. Whether you have a custom monogram created or infuse your wedding with a unique design graphic, the point is to set your wedding apart. I have found a fantastic product to help you personalize your wedding. Wonderful Graffiti creates very thin pieces of matte vinyl that look "printed" when applied to most smooth surfaces. They can be applied to the dance floor, church doors, reception room wall, and cars (to name a few). Wonderful Graffiti removes quickly, and won't harm underlying surfaces. As an example, you can order a custom monogram, a quote, or your menu to display anywhere you like. They also make fabulous favors! When Should Thank You Cards Be Written?

Contrary to what you might have heard, thank-you notes should be sent within 3 months of your wedding. You do not have up to a year! It might seem overwhelming to hand write 100 thank-you's, so set a goal for yourself. Write a couple of cards a night. It is much easier to write a few at a time. That also lends to a better written thank-you note. If you have to write 100 cards, you might speed through them, just to get them completed.
A key phrase noted above is "hand written". Take the time to hand write all of your thank you notes. No cheating! DO NOT send an email, pre-printed card or fill-in! Your thank-you's are a reflection of you and show your guests that their gift was important to you.

Do I have to put our parents' name on the wedding invitation?

Simply said: No. A current trend in invitations is clean, sleak and minimalist design. With this in mind, you would want to include only the necessary information to keep the invitation verbage to a minimum. However, always in vogue is showing respect. And if your parents are helping with the cost of the wedding, it is tradition to list their names. It is simply a matter of preference. Talk to your parents and see how they feel about it.
